The platform is a B2B marketplace for the Scandinavian construction materials market (steel, stainless, aluminium, brass and copper) with three user types: customers, suppliers and admins. The client came to us with a v1 that was broken; we developed the entire full-fledged system and gave every module (supplier, client and admin) a complete UI revamp.

The Challenge

The v1 the client arrived with didn't work: core marketplace flows were unreliable, the interface was inconsistent across user types, and the platform wasn't safe to scale. It needed a rebuild, not patches.

Full system rebuild: took the broken v1 to a working, full-fledged marketplace across all three user types
Complete UI revamp: redesigned every module: supplier, client and admin
Admin quote approval workflow: review interface at /admin/approval with supplier selection per quote
User registration approval: pending-status flow with admin user management
Security hardening: input validation and sanitisation, signup rate limiting, secure file upload validation, password strength rules
Search & filter overhaul: EU/non-EU region system, dynamic region→country dropdowns, template product separation, one-card-per-supplier results
